There have recently been pronounced criticisms, from several quarters, of the activities and operational mode of the anti-corruption agencies. The agencies' alleged shortcomings range from nonperformance, witch-hunting of suspects, disregard of suspects' fundamental human rights, to alleged brazen disobedience of court orders.
