The 2011/2012 Post-JAMB UTME screening exercise shall take place on the 20th/August/2011 at the Polytechnic's permanent site in Nasarawa, Nasarawa State.

JAMB Grade-Point:
•   160 JAMB-UTME score has been decided as the baseline grade-point score for the 2011/2012 intending candidates.
•   This is also same as that published by the JAMB to be as the requirement for intake into Polytechnics across the country.

Eligible candidates are required to obtain scratch-cards upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira Only (N2, 000) with an extra of Bank Charges where necessary, as you are required to take note.

Screening Procedure:
Candidates are expected to report to the various VENUES indicated against the school of their choice as listed below:

1. School of Business Studies - IGR Block
2. School of Environmental Studies - Environmental Studies Block
3. School of Applied Science - Applied Science Block
4. School of Engineering Technology - Engineering Tech Complex
5. School of General Studies - Polytechnic Auditorium

Requirement for Screening:
1. Originals of O' Level SSCE/NECO Certificate/Statement of Results.
2. Evidence of Payment of (N2, 000) non-refundable fee for the purchase of the scratch-card.
3. State Indigene Certificates
4. JAMB ONLINE Slip with two recent Passport-sized photograph affixed with the name of the candidate and Course

The ONLINE Registration Closes on the 19th August /2011.

Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa 2011/2012 Post-UTME Screening Exercise

Pre-Entry Requirement:
•   The 2011/2012 Admission Scratch card is out for sale. Intake into the Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa requires the following and depends on which level the intending candidate fits to begin from, the Pre-ND, ND1, Pre-HND and the HND1.
•   The ND1 intending candidates as well as Promoted Pre-ND shall require SSCE O-Level, JAMB-UTME of the entry year, Post-UTME screening/examination exercise, where the HND1 shall be SSCE, OND certification, and an evidence of Industrial Training (IT).

Scratch Card Purchase:
•   With the above where eligible, indicate your choice of programme and pick up the appropriate scratch card to access the online FORM from the Polytechnic Portal-website. The acquired card has the access PIN Code.
•   These cards come in the form of Scratch-cards for the above mentioned programmes obtainable in the designated Banks (UBA, OCEANIC Bank and the Micro-Finance Bank, all of Nasarawa branch)
•   The scratch-cards are obtainable for Part-Time, Full-Time and the Post-UTME for e-Form filling

Scratch-Cards and Entry procedure:
Pick up the scratch card thus, in the designated banks, such that fits the programme of your choice and go online. Follow up the Online Registration and form filling guides to get registered.

The 2011/2012 Access Scratch-Cards exist at the designated banks and sold for N2,300; N3,800; and N4,000 for JAMB's Post- UTME, Full-Time and Part-Time respectively

Online Registration:
•   Online registration into the Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa requires access to the internet.
•   This is achieved by the interactive surfing of our URL: www.fedpolynasonline.com
•   Click on the Hyperlink tagged "Full-Time & Part-Time Application", "Post-JAMB UTME Application", IJMB Application to display the Login Page, where the access PIN codes are required to be keyed-in.
•   Carefully scratch off the opaque coverage at the back of the scratch card, where the 13-digit PIN codes are contained-in
•   You are required to key in the 6 & 13 digit codes in the Card-No and PIN code columns or the input boxes of the Login page and
•   Click on the SEND button to Display the entry FORM, where you are required to input all the information as appropriately required

Filling the Form:
•   Several input boxes for information regarding the intending candidate are contained in the FORM and should be filled before submission.
•   Input boxes labeled with an asterisks (*) are tagged as the essential input boxes and can affect form submission on null entry.
•   The FORM also contains and image entry column, requiring passports to be uploaded.
•   Images are scanned in and are reduced into 50 by 50 pixels or less, the saved into the (*.jpg) format in preparation to upload into the form. Note: that the procedure thus explianed in the uploading of passport photo into the FORM must be strickly adhered to; inorder to achieve clear display of the photo - as you may run into trouble if this method is not followed
•   Image editing software like CorelDraw would serve preferably.
•   Double check the entries closely and be sure they are appropriately correct.
•   Then Click on the SUBMIT button beneath the page to send the entry, uploaded. For a prompt the acknowledgment processes and displays. Click on the PRINT button to have the hardcopy of submitted entry.

How To Edit Entry Application:
•   Submitted online forms are subject to modification on any except for the Name, JAMB Score for the reason of PIN code authenticity and other related security matter.
•   Otherwise blocked entry of such shall not be easily modified until the consent of the school management is sanctioned.
•   The polytechnic considers any modification of the entry of such above as fraudulent attempt. So beware.
•   The procedure below buttresses how to edit an already submitted FORM. Got o the URL thus; Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa Portal
•   Click on the hyperlink with, which you did, when you originally filled the entry FORM as  in C2 above, to display the Login page
•   Click on the "red" Link beneath the  two input boxes tagged "CLICK HERE TO EDIT APPLICATION FORM"
•   This displays another Login page with the three input boxes for Card No, PIN code, and the O level exam number and then click on the submit button. The engine responds by running a search to retrieve the previously submitted FORM
•   On display of the FORM, modify as appropriately required and submit to print the acknowledgment as edited.
•   Refer to section F adopt the next procedure of the post-online registration

Post-Online Registration Procedure:
•   This is the time of documentation. Here, photocopies of relevant credentials are attached to the acknowledged online printout hardcopy, and then submitted to the academic office.

•   Hence after after the submission as above, for the post-UTME candidate shall await on Notice, or via the Internet, when the admission shall be published.
•   Note that no specific DATE has been stipulated for Post-UTME screening/examination exercise, neither has any date been fixed for when the admission result shall be published. As well correspondence with respect to date and time on when admission will be published will not be excused.
•   All information regarding ADMISSION shall be published on the internet where necessary. Please take note and always refer to the column H for updated information in that regard
