EPL: Mikel stuck in Britannia test

Super Eagles, midfielder, John Obi Mikel, played full time yesterday as Chelsea held Stoke City to a goalless draw at the Britannia Stadium where both sides began the English Premier League campaign. Mikel, who was not listed for the postponed friendly between the Eagles and Black Stars in London due to injury, kept the home side at bay all through the encounter where the visitors' Coach, Andre Villas-Boas, tried to experiment on his forward line playing 4-3-3 in which starting striker, Fernando Torres, drew blank.
