Sports can project Nigeria’s image positively –Mohammed Babangida

Mohammed Babangida, first son of former Nigeria Military President, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida (rtd), is known as one of the top ranked Polo players in the country. And recently the El-Amin Foundation chairman organised the maiden, Maryam Babangida Memorial National Junior Tennis Championship in Minna. The well attended event featured U-12 and U-14 boys and girls respectively from 18 states of the federation. In this interview with ANDREW EKEJIUBA, conducted in Minna, Mohammed highlighted the reasons behind his adventure into the sponsorship of tennis. Excerpts:
