POSITION:  Security Supervisor.

Reports to: Regional Security Manager(North / South)

WORK BASE AREA: 4 positions (2positions  in the South-South/East Region, and 2positions in the Northern Region)

CORE PURPOSE:
Supervise, assign and review the activities of third party security staff assigned to the regional office security services.

Principal Functions (Major Areas of Responsibility):
·        Monitor and ensure the deployment of up-to-date security fixtures in assigned regions.
·        Supervise and monitor activities of security officers at regional offices ensuring optimal service delivery and compliance with stated policies and procedures.
·        Keep abreast of key developments in relevant security enhancement gadgets, programs and initiatives to ensure the organization's assets are adequately protected.
·        Handle all security requests and incidents at assigned locations.
·        Manage responses to security requests/ emergencies.
·        Maintain relationship with the Nigerian Security Agencies and other relevant bodies to ensure that relevant alerts are made available to the organization in a timely manner.
·        Assist in the development of a security-conscious culture among the workforce by organizing relevant security programs in assigned regions.
·        Keep adequate record of security incidents.
·        Ensure adherence of security officers' activities to security policies and procedures.
·        Prepare and disseminate security and incident reports on a timely basis.
·        Monitor security-related issues in assigned regions and escalate to appropriate authority for resolutions.
·        Participate in security incidents investigation.
·        Facilitate the processing of identity access and requests for staff in assigned regions.
·        Attend team/divisional/departmental meetings as required.
·        Prepare/compile agreed periodic activity and performance reports for the attention of the Regional Security Manager.
·        Perform any other duties as assigned by the Regional Security Manager.

Requirements:
·         First degree or its equivalent in a relevant discipline.
·         Minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience.
