Coach Samson Siasia has assured striker Obafemi Martins that he remains a key member of the Super Eagles squad and will get a recall as soon as he is fully fit. Martins, 26, has yet to feature for the Super Eagles under Siasia.

It's good that coach Siasia has not ruled out inviting Obafemi Martins to the Super Eagles squad. Martins was instrumental to Nigeria's qualification to 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. He should be given a chance to prove himself, for a place in the national squad.
