Teragro Limited, the agri-business subsidiary of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc (Transcorp) is seeking for highly motivated professionals to work in its new fruit juice concentrate processing plant at Makurdi, Benue State.

Job Title: Machine Operators
Ref: MO/2011/09

Hardworking, intelligent, highly skilled and experienced Machines Operators.

Position Summary:
The Machine Operator shall have the responsibility of operating different types of food processing unit operation machines including: Heater, peelers, separator, centrifuges, fillers, and packaging machines. The role may also require operation of multiple machines simultaneously.

Essential requirements for the role:
•   At least 3 years experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment.
•   Minimum of SSCE Certification is required.
•   Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
•   Competency in basic math skills such as adding and subtracting.
•   Ability to use required measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, tape measure, etc.
•   Willing to be flexible with work assignments and possible hours as business needs require.
•   Able to work cooperatively within the team as well as with members of other teams to meet goals.
