IITA Ibadan Nigeria Job for Foreman, Auto-Electrical

The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture seeks suitable Nigerian Nationals for the following positions at the Institute's Headquarters, Ibadan.

Position: Foreman, Auto-Electrical (2 year's renewable contract)

Duties:
•   Diagnose and profer solutions to identified problems on both petrol powered and diesel operated automotives.
•   Use OBD II equipment to troubleshoot auto electrical defects on SUV automotives.
•   Repair and fix defective kick starters.
•   Repair Alternators.
•   Align generally, auto electrical wires.
•   Prepare electrolytes and charge many accumulators using series connections.
•   Carry out quality checks on vehicles repaired in the workshops.
•   Ensure good house-keeping and safety compliance at all time.
•   Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualification and Experience:
•   BSC/HND Mechanical Engineering (Automobile).
•   5 years or ND plus 10 years relevant working experience in a large Auto-electrical workshop.
•   Successful candidate must be knowledge in work planning and shop floor organization.
•   He/she should be able to perform under pressure and deliver timely results.
