Job Title: Proposal Engineer

Responsibilities:
•   Generates all target industry related technical and commercial proposals, assists sales channels and works with customers industry orders to exceed margin objectives.
•   Negotiates commercial contracts with a specific focus on risk management.
•   Works effectively with team members to meet business goals on orders, margin and cycle time performance objectives.
•   Leads and delivers on site and off site customer presentations. Where applicable, attends trade functions and technical committee meetings.
•   Maintains industry contacts and 3rd party industry data sources to stay current on industry trends trade functions and developments for strategic planning and reporting purposes.
•   Provides input into new product introductions and product enhancements where appropriate.
•   Supports Product Marketing's strategic vertical market segment growth plans on a global basis.

Requirement:
•   Bachelor of Engineering with 7 years' post qualification experience.
•   Experience in proposal management, including knowledge of commercial contract negotiation and risk management.
•   Has experience with Technical Sales or Commercial Operations.
•   Demonstrated leadership & presentation skills.
•   Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
•   Professionalism & tact to interact effectively with internal and external customers.
•   Solid Negotiation skills.
•   Must have a near perfect understanding of the Nigerian Local content policy and the PIB.
