Single parenting doesn't have to be lonely. This article has some suggestions to assist you in your search for balance in single parenting and dating. its going to be an insight to what you need to do to get the right date in due time,so don't just seat at home watching TV as you might get bored easily..take a walk or do something, then you might meet a date in the process.

1. Be honest with potential dates: Tell him/her you are a single parent. This lowers the chance of dating a person that does not like or does not want children. There is no need to waste your time, or theirs.

2. Plan dates for times when you are available to go out without your child/ren: Dating without your child/ren in tow will give you a better opportunity to focus on getting to know each other.

3. Enjoy yourself. Dating should be fun and don't look down on yourself, keep your spirit up always.

4. Meet people you are interested in dating: make plans to date someone that interests you,go outside, take a walk,or visit friend when you have free time, this might be an avenue to meet new people.

Advice:

a. Do not introduce your dates to your child too early. This should be reserved for longer term relationships, not someone you won't remember in two months.

b. Do not allow dating to interfere with your parenting. Your child should come first.
