Principal Responsibilities:
•  Planning & Design of  GSM Networks - Greenfield & Expansion projects.
•  Planning & Design of WRAN Networks
•  Network Dimensioning based on coverage and capacity requirements specifications for circuit and packet switched applications
•  Analyze technical needs and the characteristics of the existing and/or proposed systems and/or to give technical solutions that assist the customers needs
•  Support presales activities, including pre-studies.
•  Design of in-building solutions to drive retention
•  Network Tuning to meet design criteria & KPIs. Radio Network Acceptance
•  Knowledge sharing
•  Design of Radio Networks using theoretical models and simulations of radio propagation
•  Achieve & maintain the Radio Network Performance as per the contracted KPIs (Accessibility, Retain- ability, and Mobility & Service Integrity).
• Presentation of the design to marketing unit and/or customer
 
Qualifications:
•  Bachelor's Degree in Electronics or Communications Engineering.
•  Preferable experience in WCDMA Radio Design. At least 2 years of GSM radio design experience
•  Exposure to Ericsson systems & solutions.
•  Minimum 4 years Telecommunication  experience, with at least 3 years WRAN Optimization Experience

Excellent knowledge and experience of:
Radio Frequency (RF) Engineering;
•   Radio Network Statistics;
•   Transmission;
•   PC based tools;
•   Knowledge / experience of standard IT environments;
•   Very high knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments;
•   Knowledge of SQL database solutions as well as GIS;
•   Local requirements and regulation of RF documentation.

Profound knowledge:
•   Telecom networks;
•   Quality requirements and methods;
•   Business processes;
•   Customer's business environment, processes and driving forces from a short and long-term perspective;
•   Specialized consulting skills, strong change management skills and an in-depth knowledge of the industry;
•   Customer oriented mindset, good interpersonal and communication skills;
•   Fluent oral and written English.
