Job Title: Facilities Manager

Qualification:
•   Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture.
•   Certificate in facilities management.

Experience:
•   Minimum of 12 years experience in facilities maintenance and management in real estate, complexes or apartments.
•   Minimum of 3 years at a senior management position.
•   Knowledge of Microsoft office software.

Responsibilities:
•   Assess the current condition and maintain electrical, air conditioning, plumbing and other essential facilities and equipment.
•   Maintain accurate records of the condition of the equipment and other systems for the estate.
•   Maintain utilities and communications infrastructure.
•   Develop a system for cleaning, repair and maintenance of facilities.
•   Ensure the safety of the building or establishment from fire, flood and other hazards.
•   Recruit facilities service staff and train them appropriately to ensure competent work output.
•   Coordinate with other offices and units for things that are not within the scope of the facilities service team.
•   Project management supervises and coordinates work of contractors.
•   Calculate and compare costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money.
•   Liaise with tenants of commercial properties.
•   Direct and plan essential central services such as reception, security, maintenance, clearing waste disposal and recycling.
•   Plan best allocation and utilization of space and resources for new buildings, or re-organizing current premises.
•   Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise.
•   Grounds maintenance and horticulture.
