Job Title: Senior Associate, Audit & Advisory

Location: Lagos

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Supervises: Audit and Advisory Professional Staff

Company: Superheads International Limited (SIL)

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: – To lead execution of Audit and Advisory transactions and review reports written by Staff and trainees of the firm – To plan for engagements by preparing planning memos, prepare and review engagement letters, review minutes and ensure proper filing – To provide support on the business development activities in the areas of preparing and making presentations, anchoring client meetings, documenting issues, pitching clients; identifying gaps and cross selling opportunities – To prepare final reports for Partners review and effect review points – To appraise staff/trainees on engagement basis and submit evaluations on quarterly basis to the Management – To ensure that client files contain all the information pre-, during and post – audit and advisory correspondences – To prepare and make presentations to clients on relevant issues in the course of engagements – To co-ordinate the activities of the audit and advisory staff on- and off – engagements – To ensure that staff are adequately allocated to transactions and ensure reduction of controllable idle time to the minimum

Minimum Qualification: – Minimum of Second class Upper First degree from a reputable University – Associate Chartered Accountant – 4-5 years cognate experience from reputable Audit and Consulting firms – Must be resident in Abuja – Has analytical mind and can conduct financial analysis

Competency and Skill Requirements: – Excellent knowledge of the Accounting profession, financial and capital markets industry including regulations, legislations and operating environment – Ability to interpret and determine the potential business impact and emerging business opportunities of micro and macroeconomic indices – Ability to train and motivate subordinates – Strong business acumen and ability to identify and convert business opportunities – Good networking and relationship building skills.  – Strong interpersonal skills – Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards and high level of integrity – Strong leadership and people management skills – Excellent presentation and communication skills.  – Can successfully perform reflective writing and has good report writing skills
