Job Title: Senior Data Analyst (Revenue Assurance)

Job Description:
•   Identify data integrity issues on revenue impacting systems
•   Implement best practice revenue leakage identification
•   Assist with Deployment of RA applications
•   Conduct verification of promos, new products
•   Ensure proper data management and server housekeeping
•   Develop new or enhance existing controls for RA application using object oriented development skills e.g. Business Rules Automation Infrastructure (BRAIN)
•   Manage errors on the billing systems
•   Verify Revenue generating subscribers (RGS)reported by information systems (IS) and Marketing Divisions
•   Ensure end-to-end reconciliation of subscribers activities from switch to billing systems
•   Ensure proper documentation of reports, working papers, etc
•   Conduct ad-hoc investigations as may be assigned by the manager
•   Conduct revenue verification and assurance exercises with business risk management (BRM)
•   Provide relevant feedback on user requirements and change control to the Telecom Analytics team
•   Ensure data requests for external audit are met

Job Conditions:
Normal MTNN working conditions May be required to work extended hours/ or weekends Will be required to travel to MTNN Regions intermittentlyReporting To:Telecoms Analytics Manager

Required Skills:
•   Four(4) years data analysis experience which should include:
•   Object oriented development experience, java and/or Python preferred
•   Experience with technical activities with heavy reliance on data analysis skills, such as data conversion, systems integration, or data warehousing
•   Experience with programming and scripting in a Unix environment ,including database experience
•   Advanced SQL programming skill
•   Experience in implementing/operating operational and business support software(OSS/BSS)
•   Database/data analysis experience (SQL, data modeling, PL/SQL); knowledge of Oracle DB concepts
Optional:
•   Revenue Assurance experience, including data reconciliation, usage analysis, Inter-carrier analysis etc

Qualification:
First degree in Computer Science, Statistics or a related field Certification in any OSS/BSS e.g. SQL, Python, Unix Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) maybe an added advantage
