Job Description:

•   Lead, manage and represent the assigned project

•   Be customer's focal point for day to day project activities

•   Be internal focal point for all day to day project matters

Support development of appropriate business strategies

•   Lead development of project management personnel development strategies Lead development of the project execution plan

•   Lead customer satisfaction concerning the project

•   Support enhancement of existing customer relationships  

Provide leadership and the motivate project team

•   Define project organisation and mobilise appropriate personnel

•   Manage project team and process Manage the project management process to be effective and efficient Ensure development of project management process and software to support projects is defined, planned and executed in a professional manner

•   Ensure HSE, project controls, contracts and procurement, engineering, operations, quality, HSES and administration processes are managed and integrated effectively

•   Ensure that project management activities are coordinated effectively within the project team to minimise potential exposure to loss

•   Ensure the management of change process including revision of plans and documents, project reviews and approvals and other external input and reviews is quality controlled effectively

•   Deliver the project deliverables from preparation, review, approval, execution and close out in a safe, timely and cost effective manner

•   Be responsible concerning HSES to deliver project requirements safely and without incident

•   Lead and encourage technical and other development necessary to advance project returns in accordance with strategic plans in liaison with the key personnel

•   Introduce innovation where feasible to derive more cost effective solutions with fewer resources and improved quality without HSES loss Strive to add value through innovation, effective team working and efficient use of resources

•   Report projects progress and performance in accordance with predefined requirements Aim to exceed specified project delivery targets and stretched targets

•   Manage project management improvement process

•   Manage project personnel development improvement process

•   Lead project information technology enhancement process

•   Manage project budget

•   Manage project revenue, expenditure and cash flow

•   Manage project risk management plan

Desired Skills & Experience:

•   Good first degree in an Engineering discipline

•   Post graduate qualification in a related discipline is desirable

•   Minimum 15 years experience in the oil and gas business

•   Demonstrable track record in project management leading a successful team with a minimum of 12years

•   In depth knowledge of offshore platforms and subsea pipelines, onshore construction, offshore installation and commissioning of completed systems

•   A fundamental understanding of key subjects including HSE, cost, time, quality and customer management

•   Must be a decision maker, meet targets and work under pressure

•   Must be motivated and be a motivator.

•   Have excellent business, planning and organisation skills

•   Be a good negotiator and enjoy dealing with people, whether by phone of in person

•   Must be confident with excellent written and oral communication skills
