How To Configure Linksalpha To Auto Post to Facebook, Twitter, WordPress etc

Here is a simple step to configure LinksAlpha to automatically post RSS feed content updates to blogs and social networking websites. "Making Social Media Easy. Quick and easy way for companies and users to connect and share on social web. Publish to 25+ Social Networks and Web Tools."

In this guide, I have used Wordpress as an example but the steps can easily be adapted for supported social networking websites on LinksAlpha. The InfoStride RSS feed is also used as an example here.

1.   Register and Login into LinksAlpha.com
2.   Click on "Add a Website"
3.   Enter the "Category RSS Feed URL" e.g http://www.theinfostride.com/forum/index.php?action=.xml;type=rss
4.   Click on "Networks"
5.   Scroll down and Select "Wordpress"
6.   Then login with WordPress account created to authorise the application to post to Wordpress
7.   After that, click on "Publish" to configure publishing
8.   Select the website and the network
9.   Click on "Publish"
10.   The page will refresh and show your currently publishing
11.   Under "Currently Publishing", click on "Options"
12.   Change Post Type to 140 characters
13.   Under "Additional Text" type "Source: The InfoStride"
14.   Under "Additional Text Link" type category URL e.g. http://www.theinfostride.com
15.   Finally click on "Update"

The following websites are supported on linksalpha.com: Facebook,Twitter, LinkedIn, Foursquare, MySpace, Blogger, Delicious, Diigo.com, Gowalla, Identi.ca, Plurk.com, posterous, Socialcast, Sonico, Status.net,tumblr.com, Typepad, Live.com, Wordpress, Yahoo,Yahoo Meme, and Yammer.
