Kwara State University (KWASU) 2010/2011 Post-UTME Screening Details Announced

This is to inform candidates who have made Kwara State University their first or second choice in the last JAMB/UTME entrance examination and also participated in the KWASU Post-UTME Screening exercise including the Direct Entry candidates that the first batch of the Admission List has been placed on the Home Page of the University website at http://www.kwasu.edu.ng

Candidates whose names appear on the Provisional Admission List are required to report to the Admission Screening Committee at the University Campus Malete immediately (between Monday 16th August 2010 and Wednesday 25th August 2010) for the followings:
1.   Screening of Credentials including JAMB Print-out
2.   Screening of Certificate of State of Origin
3.   Conduct of Medical Test in the University Medical Centre
4.   Obtaining Clearance for payment of School fees and Course Registration

After the Screening exercise, successful candidates are to proceed immediately to pay their School fees in line with the two approved options of either full payment of the fees at once or paying minimum non-refundable 50% of the fees now and 50% balance before the end of the First Semester. The fees are to be paid directly into KWASU School fees Account Numbers at any branch of the following banks nation-wide:-
i). Skye Bank – 2821770004699
ii). First City Monument Bank – 1212070630038001

Deadline for payment of fees is Wednesday 25th August 2010 as all provisional admission not accepted by that date shall be forfeited. Upon payment, candidates are to submit a copy of the Bank Teller to the university and collect the scratch card for online central registrations and print their receipt online which will be used for course registration at the university.

NOTICE TO OTHER CANDIDATES
1. Candidates who selected KWASU as first or second choice and participated in the last Post UTME Screening exercise and whose names have not yet appeared on the First Provisional Admission List are advised to be on the look-out for the remaining batches. The schedule of candidates appearing for Screening, Clearance and Payment of the fees under the remaining batches are as follows:
1.   Second batch – Thursday 26th August to  Friday 3rd September 2010
2.   Third batch – Friday 3rd September to Friday 10th September 2010
3.   Fourth batch – Friday 10th September to Friday 17th Sept 2010

2. Candidates who selected KWASU as First and Second Choice in the UTME entrance examination and obtained 200 and above but did not appear for the last Post-UTME Screening exercise are invited to the Second Post UTME Screening exercise holding at KWASU Campus, Malete on Saturday 21st August 2010 beginning at 9:00 am.
Candidates are to come along to the Venue with Bank draft in the sum of =N=1,500:00 payable to Kwara State University and a copy of their JAMB Print-out.

3. Candidates who did not choose KWASU in the last UTME but applied online to KWASU and participated in the last Post-UTME Screening exercise and have effected change of institutions through JAMB are advised to look-out for further development by constantly visiting KWASU website at http://www.kwasu.edu.ng
