The Federal Government has released $200 million to the Bank of Industry to be accessed by practitioners in the entertainment industry at a single digit interest rate and arrangements have been made with The Lagos Business School to provide entrepreneurial capacity training for beneficiaries of the Fund.

I read your comments about kerosene scarcity. I have said on this page that I am here only to serve you and cater to your needs. As such I directed the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) to immediately find solutions to the issue. I have now received reports that 50 million litres of the product has been released to the market and the scarcity would very shortly be a thing of the past. GEJ

As I said on New Year's day and in Nasarawa State, this govt intends (and has started work) to make sure there is a university in each state. We held the National Education Summit to improve the quality of education and followed with enhanced funding in the 2011 budget bill. We'll ultimately improve standards in existing universities but as a father I want all Children who desire it to have access to education.

Last year Valentine Uche Chukwuma asked what my plans were for itinerant scholars found mostly in Northern Nigeria and commonly referred to as Almajiri. Though I responded then, I want to give further feedback of the fact that the FG by my direct intervention made provision this year to build boarding houses for them so they learn under a conducive environment and grow up to be adequately prepared for life.
