What began as a routine attempt by the House of Representatives to ensure that government institutions and their leaders stick strictly to their constitutional mandate almost snowballed into a huge crisis in the House of Representatives last week when some members of the House from Kano State staged a walk out to protest what they say was the persecution of the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.
