Eligibility:
- Medicine & Surgery (200+)
- Law (200+)
- Others (180+)

Dates according to Faculty:
•   Faculty of Social Science (14th June)
•   Faculty of Arts (14th June)
•   Faculty of Management Science (15th June)
•   Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences (15th June)
•   Faculty of Education (16th June)

Scratch Card Purchase:
The e-scratch card/paper scratch card costs #2,550 @ the following Banks in Calabar:
•   UNICAL Microfinance bank,
•   WEMA Bank
•   Enterprise Bank
•   Access Bank

The following are the detailed information of University of Calabar (UNICAL) Screening of Post UTME Candidate for Admission into the University 2012/2013 Session.

This announcement was made for the benefit of all candidates who have chosen University of Calabar as their First Choice in their application for admission into the University for the 2012/2013 Session. The First Choice Post-UTME screening exercise has been scheduled to take place from Thursday 14th June Saturday, 16th June, 2012.

ELEGIBILITY

Programmes in Clinical Science (Medicine and Surgery): 200+; Law: 200+. All others: 180+.

The time table is as shown below:

DAY ONE: Thursday 14th June, 2012

PAYMENT PROCEDURE

Walk into any of the participating banks and request to make payment for UNICAL post UTME e-scratch card or paper scratch card based on the options below, you will be required to pay N2,550 which will cover the screening fee, practice questions papers and portal/bank charges.

Method 1:
- Go online to (University of Calabar - UNICAL Post-UTME 2012)
- To buy scratch cards online, click the 'Buy Pin Online' link on the site
- A page displays for payment with ATM cards
- Enter the number of pins to buy
- Enter the ATM Card payment details
- The pins will be generated after a successful transaction
- Login with the generated pin for the Post UTME

Method 2:
- Go online to (University of Calabar - UNICAL Post-UTME 2012)
- Select 'Buy Pin From Bank' link and print generated pin slip
- Walk into any branch of Zenith Bank Plc or First Bank PlC nationwide with slip to make payment
- Bank will post payment to activate your pin
- Login with the generated pin for the Post UTME


THE PAPER SCRATCH CARD OPTION

First Choice Post-UTME scratch cards are available for those who reside in Calabar or have difficulties in obtaining the e-scratch card receipt:
•   UNICAL Microfinance Bank
•   WEMA Bank PLC - Calabar
•   Enterprise Bank PLC - Calabar
•   Access Bank PLC - Calabar

On obtaining the scratch card, proceed to any internet facility. Logon to (University of Calabar - UNICAL Post-UTME 2012). On the home page, you will be required to select your faculty and department before you enter your JAMB score / Registration number and your scratch card number against the fields provided. Click on logon and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the form.

Final Step:
•   Confirm your entries before clicking on submit. After clicking on submit, print the form as evidence of your registration and bring it along to the screening venue.
•   Download the version of Practice Questions related to your Faculty/Programme after filling the online application form.

Registration Dateline:
REGISTRATION WILL SHUT DOWN AT 12.00 MID NIGHT ON TUESDAY 11TH June, 2012

Candidates are required to come with the following items for the screening exercise.
•   2012/2013 original examination UTME result slip showing candidate's photograph.
•   HB pencil, eraser, and a ball-point pen.
