PDP National Youth Leader commends Jonathan on jobs

Minna -  Alhaji Garba Chiza, the new PDP National Youth Leader, has commended President Goodluck Jonathan for his administration's plan to provide 10,000 jobs for youths in the country.

Chiza told newsmen in Minna  on Monday that the jobs would go a long way to reduce unemployment and anti-social activities in the society.

"These jobs will be created this year, in addition to other youth empowerment programmes."

According to him, the provision of employment and other empowerment programmes will also curb youths' involvement in political thuggery and other vices.

Chiza urged youths to support the president's transformation agenda to ensure its successful implementation.

He said he would engage in extensive campaign in all the states against the involvement of youths in thuggery and other vices.

He also commended Gov Babangida Aliyu of Niger for his support and encouragement throughout his campaign. (NAN)
