While speaking about the place of love and money in the sustenance of a relationship recently, Nollywood Actress Shan George has this message for her fellow ladies: "Never fall in love with a poor man, because money would always be more important to him than your heart."

Should Shan George who struggled many years on the streets of Lagos before she was able to lift her head up be the person to make this statement? Are so called "poor" men suffering from leprosy?

To some extent, Shan George is right. A poor man could do anything to make money, than spending time with his family. However, if he does not make money to take care of his family, he would be labelled a lazy and useless man. Just my opinion!
