Prof Esiaba Irobi is the 2010 Winner of The Nigeria Prize for Literature by NLNG

For Esiaba Irobi, the recently deceased playwright, the road to literary glory did not end at the cemetery. In a keenly contested competition amongst the likes of literary icon Ahmed Yerima and Onukaba Adinoyi-Ojo, the erstwhile Europe-based playwright emerged the winner of the 2010 Nigeria Prize for Literature for his play "Cemetery Road".
