Yinka Akande becomes MAN DG

When he threw in the towel as the brand director of Etisalat Nigeria, over a year ago, what many concluded, going by the subtle vibes he was emitting(worked at UAC, Unilever, Glaxo-Smithkline, Coca Cola and Globacom) was that the marketing savvy Yinka would berth his own marketing communications firm which he eventually did.

But less than a few months after opening shop and just when he was still trying to adjust to life outside of paid employment and nurturing his business, a new responsibility was thrust upon him. The highly cerebral Yinka is now the Director -General/CEO of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria.
