Edo 2012 guber: You cannot escape defeat, no matter the blackmail -ACN tells PDP

THE Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) in Edo state, yesterday, warned that no amount of blackmail or mudslinging by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state will stop it from defeating the PDP at the polls in July for the governorship election.

The PDP through its chairman, Chief Dan Orbih had on Tuesday alleged that Governor Adams Oshiomhole had expended over N10billion in building a mansion at his Iyamho village in Etsako West Local Government Council of the state.

Ironically, few hours after the Press conference by Chief Orbih, Oshiomhole arrived the Benin Airport in a Presidential jet at about 5:25pm to the chagrin of PDP leaders in the state who had informed their followers that they had the blessings of President Goodluck Jonathan to oust Oshiomhole come July 14, 2012 governorship election.

However, the state chairman of the ACN, Thoman Okosun, said the PDP has no answer to the developmental strides of the governor "even when the governor challenged their governorship candidate for a debate, they failed to show up. So they have resorted to blackmail".
