Job Description

•   Position Senior Account Mgr role to farm opportunities and build up relationships for Wipro in the Banking business. Location Kenya/ Nigeria

•   Sr. Account Manager will be a key and senior member of the account team The Account Manager will be responsible fora target of 4 – 5m annual business and growing it YoY. Depending on the candidate's experience, the size of the portfolio that is entrusted can be higher.

This role would require strong farming competencies, confidence, initiative and people skills to build and scale new relationships, as well as strong hunting skills. The role will need to leverage existing account level relationships, drive the sales pipeline,

The remit for the role includes-

1. Working in a high-energy farming/hunting environment with a number of banking accounts.

2. Demonstrating excellent Relationship Management and Stakeholder Management skills

3. Winning new business – Identify client issues, provide efficient resolutions/proactive proposals, create and shape demand

4. Effective delivery oversight, and collaborating with the delivery teams based onsite/ offshore

The role will be Nigeria based but will involve travel. This is a high growth opportunity in high-growth accounts. And a successful Account Manager can rise rapidly

Desired Skills & Experience

Work Experience/background-

• Very strong sales background in a clear quota role with consistent performance.

• Worked with large banking accounts.

• Good understanding of SI sales life cycle and have handled a revenue of at least USD 5-7 million per annum minimum in last 2 years.

• Strong understanding of FSI vertical domain understanding and appreciation of banking business and application and infrastructure landscape.

• Familiarity with ITO concepts and deal structuring a big plus.

• Track record of selling at C levels is very essential and tenacity and perseverance to hunt in a new geography is a must.

• Exposure to Africa (especially Nigeria and Kenya ) will be a big plus.

• Demonstrable experience of working in a farming environment in large accounts i.e., experience of client interface, mining new opportunities and growing relationships

• Experience of working in multicultural, cross functional teams leveraging Global delivery models in IT services will be a plus

• Ability to work independently and proactively in a dynamic and ambiguous environment
