Master's (MSc) Scholarships for International Students in Medical Sciences at Newcastle University in UK for the year 2012-2013 is now available for scholarship position.

The study subject is Medical Sciences and Related Field. The course Level is Master's (MSc). The scholarship provider is faculty of medical sciences. The scholarship can be taken at UK.

Eligibility:
-An Honours degree, or international equivalent, in a science or related discipline or a degree in medicine or dentistry.
-For science graduates, a first-class or an upper-second-class degree is the standard minimum requirement. Two academic references are required.
-Applicants whose first language is not English require a minimum of IELTS 6.5 for each sub-section, TOEFL 90 (Internet-based) or equivalent.
- Applicants with lower English language qualifications may be accepted if they follow a pre-sessional English course at our INTO Newcastle University Centre which provides extra tuition to help students meet the University's English language requirements.

Scholarship open for international students as well.

The Faculty of Medical Sciences is offering a small number of scholarships of £1000 to self-funding international (non-EU) applicants for 2012 entry into the MSc Medical Sciences programme and the following suite of MRes programmesThis new MSc programme is designed to provide you with a broad education in diverse areas of medical sciences.

You will gain an understanding of the principles and practices that underpin contemporary medical sciences and biomedicine. The programme is suitable for graduates with a background in biomedical sciences, medicine or dentistry and for graduates from more varied backgrounds who require a conversion course that will allow them to acquire expertise and specialist knowledge in biomedicine.

The knowledge and skills acquired will be relevant to a wide range of careers, including those in the health sector, academia and industry for which a Masters' level education is desirable or essential.

How to Apply: You will be automatically considered for a scholarship upon acceptance of an unconditional or conditional offer.

Scholarship application deadline is 13th July 2012.
