THE CANDIDATE

The candidate must possess a good University Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma in relevant field.

Conditions Of Service Are As Applicable In Other Federal Universities.

Professor – Candidates must possess a good first degree and a PhD in relevant discipline from a reputable University. – The candidate must have been a Reader for at least three (3) years in the relevant field. – He/She must possess at least twelve (12) years of teaching and research experience in a university. – He/She must have published a considerable number of high quality scholarly publications in form of books, monographs, chapters in books and journal articles. (National & International) – He/She must have administrative experience.

Reader – Candidates must possess a good first degree and PhD in relevant discipline from a reputable University. – Candidates must have been Senior Lecturer for at least three (3) years in the relevant field. – He/She must possess at least (9) years post doctoral University full time teaching and research experience. – He/ She must possess scholarly publications in reputable journals and should carry out and supervise research in relevant discipline. – He/She must have administrative experience.

Senior Lecturer – Candidates must possess a PhD in the relevant field of study from a reputable University. – He/ She must have at least six (6) years teaching experience as a Lecturer I. – He /She must possess a considerable number of publications in reputable journals. – He /She must have administrative experience.

Lecturer II – He /She must have served at least three (3) years in a related discipline. – Candidates must also demonstrate teaching and research competence in relevant discipline.

Assistant Lecturer – Candidates should possess an impressive first degree. – Candidates must possess a Masters degree in the relevant discipline. – He/ She must have evidence of productive candidature towards a Ph.D in the relevant field of study.

Graduate Assistant – Candidates should possess at least a second class (honors) degree (Upper Division) in the relevant field of study with a drive to pursue higher degree programmes.
