Sambo urges Boko Haram to embrace dialogue

  Sambo  Vice President Namadi Sambo has called on members of the Boko Haram sect to embrace dialogue.

Sambo made the call while speaking with journalists shortly after he inaugurated Almajirai Model Boarding Primary School at Maraban Gwarda in Sabon-Gari, Kaduna State, on Saturday.

He observed that dialogue remained the best option for solving the lingering crises in the country.

He appealed to all Nigerians to embrace peace because it is the bedrock for development.

``I want to use this opportunity to appeal to Nigerians, especially members of the Boko Haram sect to embrace peace.

``Let them come and sit down and dialogue with the Federal Government so that peace can reign in our country, “the vice president said.
