Job description

•   • Responsible for the creation and provision of maps from different sources of numeric data.

•   • Participate to the Coordination of GIS support to GIS end users

•   • Interface with other GIS teams in EPNL, in GSG and with other data management teams such as GADAMA.

•   • Responsible for geodesy issues for the GSR division.

•   • Responsible for the roadmap of GIS in the affiliate.

•   • No budget responsibility

•   • Preparation and compilation of Geosciences information suitable for cartographic presentation.

•   • Provide or coordinate provision of maps and topographical data on request

•   • Exchange the information and data with other GSR teams and with other divisions

•   • Perform geodetic transformations and geodesy advise in GSR

•   • Use of all the cartographic software and geodesy tools (especially Arcview, Microstation and GCU)

•   • Coordinating and validating the work of the team.

•   • Train the team

•   • Stay in contact with Geomatics team in HQ to learn about new developments and stay in line with HQ recommendations.

•   • Advise and maintains the roadmap for future GIS developments in the affiliate.

•   • Provision of weekly reports

Education: BSc or MSc in GeoInformation / Data Management

Experience: Minimum of 5 years professional experiences
