Job Description:

•   To ensure that robust and effective controls and financial processes are in place across the NAWA Area (all countries, NAWA head office, and covering both Local and Projects business activity).

•   The role holder will be expected to work closely with and support Country Finance, Project Site finance teams, Management teams in the establishment of such controls and processes and with the AI / Aggreko Controller "networks" to ensure consistency and best practice sharing.

Job Accountabilities/Key Responsibilities:

•   Focus on controls, policies, procedures (adopting these from PLC and AI, developing detailed local ones as necessary, implementing these and monitoring and ensuring adherence.

•   Statutory reporting,  including reconciliation to management reporting, statutory audits, compliance with filing, balance sheet reviews, model month end process and effectiveness.

•   Financial Controls Checklist scores improvement.

•   Internal audit results follow up.

•   Process discipline.

•   PCAT scores for accounting and reporting.

•   Related SDM objectives for the area.

•   Coordinating and ensuring effectiveness of Orange Belt activities in related matters.

•   Acting as Security Champion (primary or backup) for all countries within the Area, reviewing and ensuring appropriate segregation of duties is maintained.

•   Coordinating closely with Area and AI Tax function on entity set up and tax related matters.

•   Ensuring treasury and foreign exchange issues are identified and managed efficiently through PLC Treasury function and AI Finance.

Desired Skills & Experience:

•   Professional accounting qualification

•   Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills

•   ERP systems experience a must

•   Willing to travel regularly.
