Job Summary:

•   The Civil Engineer has the responsibility to execute architectural and structural designs and plans of all buildings, bulk storage installations, retail outlets and other company infrastructure to Oando standards and specifications within regulated time frames.

•   He/she is to provide technical advice regarding design, construction, program modifications, and structural repairs to industrial and managerial personnel.

•   In addition, he/she will supervise the company's civil engineering projects under the direction of the Manager, ensuring conformance to design specifications and industry/Environmental Health and Safety standards and regulations.

Position and Person specifications:

•   Good 1st degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised University.

•   Minimum of Second Class Lower required with at least 5 years cognate experience in design and construction in the downstream Oil and Gas industry.

•   Professional membership of Nigerian Society of Engineers is an added advantage.

•   The position requires an individual that is highly mobile, result-oriented and has project management skills.

•   In addition, he/she will be required to have excellent knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models as well as the ability to interpret Architectural and Engineering designs.

•   AutoCAD proficiency is an essential requirement for this role.
