LFS is looking for a Banking Service Manager – Nigeria. As a member of the management board s/he will be joining LFS's Access Bank, West Africa branch.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

•   Ensure high professional standards are maintained in all aspects of the retail business;

•   Initiate, develop, and implement policies and procedures to guarantee a smooth day-to-day-business at high quality standards;

•   Launch of new retail products to ensure that the high portfolio quality is further developed, and customers' needs are met;

•   Manage, build, and develop a team of retail professionals in the operations area;

•   Represent the bank to the broad public and remaining good relationship with external bodies.

Qualifications:

•   Master's degree in economics, business or finance related subject;

•   At least 5 years of working experience in a bank, credit or MFI, with exposure to SME, corporate or retail banking, including experience in a managerial role and overall bank management;

•   Evidence of strong managerial and communication skills and ability to develop the skills of others;

•   Good knowledge of MIS and IT development;

•   Proficiency in English (oral and written);

•   Working experience in retail, deposit taking and/or marketing.
