Man, 37, defrauds 106-yr-old Baale

Lagos—A 37-year-old car dealer, Adams Adei, was, yesterday, arraigned before an Ebute- Meta Magistrate's Court, Lagos, for allegedly duping a 106-year-old traditional ruler of N2.5 million.

Adei, who appeared before Magistrate O. Olatunji was alleged to have defrauded Jimoh Abaoba, Baale (traditional ruler) of Okere town in Ikeja.

The accused was said to have on June 8 presented himself as someone who could help the traditional ruler buy a car,  a representation he knew to be false.
