Role Synopsis:

•   At Baker Hughes, this position is responsible for conducting and performing pumping operations on customer locations as per Baker Hughes standard  practices, maintenance in accordance with Baker Hughes procedures and as required.

•   To maintain and grow the company's status as the recognized leader within the oil service industry by ensuring that the highest quality standards are achieved to meet client expectations.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

1.                   Act as the head of the 'On Call' facility (i.e. Logistical / SAP) for out of normal business hours cover.

2.                   Ensures that all dangerous goods mobilized are in accordance with UKOOA guidelines.

3.                   Ensures that all third party items are effectively controlled and managed for off hiring purposes. That all movements are duly, accurately & timely documented on SAP.

4.                   Ensures all incoming equipment is received and inspected together with appropriate inward notification to interested departments.

5.                   Ensures that the base operations are serviced by effective 16T & 12 Ton (or similar tonnage) forklift operations. Ensures the forklifts are maintained in a professional serviceable condition, serviced and appropriate maintenance records maintained. etc...

Basic Qualifications:

•   Minimum of OND in engineering/Management  discipline and 5 year's experience, WASC/GCE with over 8y years.

•   Good Communication Skills, Good Technical and Mechanical Skills and Knowledge

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

•   Good communication skills – both verbal and written.

•   Good analytical skills.

•   Good computer skills – excel. Power point , word etc
