Job Description:

Our Client is a major leader in the Oil and Gas industry.  They are looking to recruit an experienced Subsea Engineer to be based in Lagos, Nigeria.  

•   The ideal candidate will have a vast knowledge of subsea services tailored to business development with international oil companies.  

•   They will have strong business development skills in subsea services, a vast knowledge of vessels, ROVs and other subsea related equipments.  

•   The successful candidate will be responsible in helping penetrate the international oil companies.  

•   This is initially for a two-month contract and the requirement is extremely urgent.  

•   The ideal candidate will preferably be a Subsea Engineer or Marine Engineer and have strong management experience.  

•   This contract may well be extended depending on the performance.

Requirements: – Educated to degree level and demonstrate high level of technical knowledge in the subsea area with appropriate experience in offshore drilling operations. – Good working knowledge of internal and external rules, standards and procedures in the fluids and environmental areas, and be trained to a level appropriate to statutory regulations – Planning, management and negotiation skills should be clearly demonstrable. – Must have experience of managing a team of at least five engineers and technicians – Must have excellent business development skills – Vast knowledge of vessels, ROVs and other subsea related equipments
