University of Uyo (UniUyo) has commenced its 2012/2013 Direct Entry (DE) Screening Exercise. The current application is for only Direct Entry candidates that chose UNIUYO as first choice.

UNIVERSITY OF UYO (UNIUYO) NOTICE OF SCREENING OF DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES FOR 2012/2013 ACADEMIC YEAR

Candidates who applied to the University of Uyo as their 1st choice University for the
2012/2013 Direct Entry Admission are hereby informed that the Screening Exercise will take place as follows:

Date: Friday, August 24, 2012
Venue: CBN Hall
Time: 8.00 a.m.

To be eligible, candidates are expected to possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in their SSCE or equivalent in the subjects relevant to the programmes of their 1st choice including English Language. They should in addition, have OND, NCE, HND, GCE A/L or first Degree. Admission will be conducted into the following Faculties.

1. Faculty of Agriculture
2. Faculty of Arts
3. Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences
4. Faculty of Business Administration
5. Faculty of Education
6. Faculty of Engineering
7. Faculty of Environmental Studies
8. Faculty of Law
9. Faculty of Pharmacy
10. Faculty of Science
11. Faculty of Social Sciences

Candidates must ensure that they had registered online with JAMB. Candidates whose names are not found in the 2012/2013 Direct Entry JAMB Printout will NOT be allowed into the Screening Halls.

REQUIREMENTS

(a) Eligible candidates are required to purchase scratch cards at the sum of N2,000.00 (Two thousand naira) only, from any branch of the underlisted banks nationwide, with effect from the date of this publication.

Scratch cards are also obtainable from the University Liaison Offices at Abuja and Lagos at the following addresses:

(b) With the scratch card, candidates should access and complete the University of Uyo 2012 Direct Entry (D/E) Screening Form online at (University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State) and scan their recent coloured passport-size photograph with red background on the form. Candidates should also note that the same scratch card will be used to access their performance in the Direct Entry (D/E) Screening Exercise. The closing date for registration is Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at midnight.

(c) Candidates are also required to appear for the Screening Exercise with the
following items:
1. A copy of the ONLINE form duly completed, carrying the coloured passport-size photograph.
2. 2012 Direct Entry Registration Slip.
3. Two recent passport-size colour photographs with red background, bearing the name and signature of the candidate on the reverse sides.
4. HB pencil, eraser and sharpener.

NOTE:
No GSM handsets, calculators or any other extraneous materials should be brought into the Screening Hall.
