Job Title: Financial Controller Executive- SISL

Main Purpose of the Job:

•   To review reconciliation reports, monitor trade settlement process, input data for budgeting while analyzing variances and carry out other financial control assignments delegated from time to time.

•   General reconciliation is required to ensure balances are error free

•   Ensuring that our various clients get value for their trades as at when due.

Key Responsibilities

•   Review of daily reconciliation of bank accounts and general ledgers

•   Ensure prompt reconciliation of SAP Financials

•   Review and monitor daily trade settlement and receivable management process

•   Ensure timely preparation of Fixed Asset register

•   Process control and review while recommending automation of manual processes

•   Preparation of input for budgeting and variance analysis

•   Computation of tax implications of financial transactions, deduction and remittance of same within set deadlines

•   Liaison with bank's Finance unit and any other unit as may be required in the course of the job

Problem Solving, Planning and Decision Making

Problem Solving:

Inflows with inappropriate narrations or details, incorrect or inaccurate posting of transactions-Solving this problem requires accurate upload of transactions, tracing the source documents for each transactions, delegating upward and sending reconciliation report to line manager

Planning:

Personal development goals and timelines are set at the beginning of the year which aligns with company's goal and personal career goals

Decision making:

•   Initiate correcting journal entries arising from reconciliation reports upon approval

•   Delegate upward on issues that require management's approval

Knowledge:

•   Good Degree/ Higher Diploma in Accounting

•   Member Relevant Professional

•   Strong analytical skills

•   Speed and accuracy

•   Good team spirit

•   Good communication Skills

•   Extensive knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel Spreadsheet

Experience:
