THE ROLE

CCL has been requested by a major international oil company to provide an FPSO Lead Instrumentation Engineer for a residential position based in Lagos with some international travel. 12 months (renewable) contract. Internationally competitive daily rate.

THE PERSON

10 years experience in Instrumentation and Control in Oil and Gas industry. Experience in FPSO (or offshore facilities) is a plus. Assist Topsides Engineering Manager during detail engineering, for finalization of specifications / drawings, selection of vendors, preparation of construction / integration activities. Supervise execution of Detail Engineering phase in compliance with client contract. Role: Detailed engineering; ICSS engineering; Construction activities; FPSO integration. Follow up of possible anticipated studies or activities. Active participation in Interface Management preparation. Follow up of detailed engineering, construction engineering, procurement, FAT and ensure compliance with specifications and requirements of project documentation. Coordination with ICSS Vendor / Company team; Hull Engineering team; Commissioning and start-up team; Site Representatives in yards of construction preparation. Preparation of QA / QC system. Report to Topsides Engineering Manager on progress / changes. Review proposed deviations / recommendation for project management approval.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Masters degree in Instrumentation and Control. Familiar with Client Specifications. Ensure engineering is performed in line with project scope / international codes & standards. Ensure HSE issues are taken into consideration. Participate in coordination meetings. Must be fluent in English.
