Cheetah robot beats Usein Bolts speed

The project that is aimed at developing robots for military use and is funded by the Pentagon reached 28.3mph (45.5km/h) when tested on a treadmill.

The speed achieved by the robot seemed to have beaten the record held by the fastest man of  27.78mph (44.7km/h). Meaning that the robot is faster than Usein Bolt. The next question would be what exact will the robot do in military field ?

Well, the machine's design has been inspired by the real cheetah, the fastest land animal, which can reach speeds of 75mph (121km/h).What is gained through Cheetah and related research efforts are technological building blocks that create possibilities for a whole range of robots suited to future Department of Defense missions. That suggests one thing, that the robot will be used to kill people or probably be used for chasing people across the desert.
