2015 not my priority now, Bamanga says

National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Bamanga Tukur Wednesday night brushed aside question on 2015, saying his interest for the moment is to make his party deliver on its promises.  

In a remarks at a dinner he hosted for media executives at his residence in Abuja, Bamanga said he was not interested in who emerges in 2015 but rather who would deliver on the PDP manifesto.

{loadposition user30} "My interest in 2015 lies in who will deliver on agriculture, energy, health, and sectors that would help to transform the economy", he said.

According to Bamanga, the ruling PDP had being in government for 13 years because the party is consistent, saying: "We are not talking of 2015 but infrastructural development, energy, health, agriculture, among others. We are talking of performance and not 2015."

Bamanga said he intended to build a strong party that will transform the country to a greater level while also emphasizing on his agenda based on three Rs, three Ds and three Es which he said aims at transforming not only the party but the country.
