Eligibility:

-Australian or New Zealand citizen, holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa or and International student

-Commencing music performance student in an honours degree or postgraduate (coursework) degree in the School of Music at a Monash campus in Australia

-Continuing music performance student in an undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework) degree in the School of Music at a Monash campus in Australia

-Majoring in classical violin performance studies and participating in the Monash Academy Orchestra

Scholarship Open for International Students: This is open for international students.

Scholarship Description: Scholarships will be offered to high achieving international students from outside of Australia in 2013, supporting them to study at one of the most prestigious higher education institutions in the world.

Number of awards offered:One Scholarship will be offered in 2013

Tenure of award:For a maximum of one year

Value: Total value up to $6000

Selection Criteria:-Based on a combination of academic performance and previous musical performance as determined by the School of Music

-Performance at an interview/audition

-Continuing students must have achieved a minimum of a distinction average (70%) in their principle music study.
