Job Title: Contracts Manager

Description:   
• Negotiating Low Risk transactions with minimal supervision. The candidate can refer technical and commercial issues to the Manager High Risk Nigerian deals from time to time. Such agreements will be throughput, joint venture, commercial agreements and documentation.
• Assisting the Manager, High Risk transactions, Local deals on various Nigerian deals and commercial negotiations and transactions and providing legal research on various issues as required.
• Researching local law issues that arise in the department e.g. insurance provisions in oil and gas contracts and other issues that may arise.
• Reviewing any new statutory enactment and giving a report on how this impacts the business of the group. e.g. Local Content Bill, PIB, New SEC Rules.

Additional Information:   
• Law Degree from a commonwealth jurisdiction
• Admission to the Nigerian Bar
• 4 years of relevant transactional experience
