Kanye West has done it again! For the second time in a row, the rapper wins 2015 ‘GQ Most Stylish Man of the Year’!
The music, fashion and business mogul won the fan-voted award for the second year in a row on December 29 and should thank his wife Kim Kardashain, 35, and her family for the extra push, though! The Klan rallied hard for the rapper and designer, and couldn’t be prouder of his win!
Kanye was up against up-and-coming male model Lucky Blue Smith, who actually just shot a spread for Elle UK with Kanye’s sister-in-law Kylie Jenner. The competition was super close, so ‘Ye called in reinforcements – the K. Fam! Kim took to Twitter to rally her fans and push Kanye over the edge.
Kim was gushing with pride for her hubby, and Kanye was pretty pleased himself, tweeting “Thank you GQ and to everyone who voted, it’s been an amazing year!!!”
The rapper debuted his Yeezy clothing label in February at New York Fashion Week, and it was so successful that he was able to return with “Season 2” later in the year. He also released his Yeezy Boost sneakers with Adidas, which gained an almost cult-like fandom and couldn’t stay on shelves – they were even named Shoe of the Year!
