Madaki, one of the aspirants aiming to scuttle Mark’s return to the senate for a record fourth time, alleged that the Senate President had wasted 16 years in the Upper Chamber and should not be allowed to return.
The APC chieftain, who made this known while addressing Benue South indigenes residing in Port Harcourt, Rivers State yesterday, said it was time to work together for the development of the area.
He also advised the people not to be intimidated but use the power of their votes to chase away those who do not wish them well.
“He has been deceiving us, leading to deep frustrations and hopelessness on the part of the people.
“It has become obvious that his often-touted promises have become recycled promises, which will never come to fruition.
“And he can no longer use money to manipulate the people to his advantage. He is going nowhere in 2015 not even any of his anointed candidates”.
Madaki also stressed that his party, the APC, has come to liberate the people of Benue South from the wasted years, adding that the power to effect a change reside with the people.
