David De Gea and Anthony MartialManchester United legend, Paul Scholes has come out to say that Anthony Martial is not capable of being the club’s main striker.

Scholes recently revealed that Martial does not possess the necessary attributes to play in the role on a regular basis.

According to him, the Frenchman lacks the required movement and the ability to play with his back to goal, so he cannot shine in the role.

He added that AM9 is always moody but he expects him to improve once he starts scoring again.

His words, “Martial’s strength… we’ve spoke about him being a centre-forward, he’s not a good centre-forward.

“I don’t think he’s got that movement for centre-forward, he’s not good with his back to goal. But when he gets the ball and he’s facing someone, it’s a different position. You see him going at someone.”

“Definitely. He’s a little bit moody and you see him. But once he gets a goal there’s every chance he’ll go on to get three or four.”
