Barcelona manager, Ronald Koeman has come out to challenge Lionel Messi to deliver his best form at Barcelona after his dramatic summer transfer saga.
Koeman recently revealed that Messi remains the best player in the world and that will not change.
According to him, Lionel is important to Barcelona and everyone is hoping his form will not drop when the new season starts.
He added that things are looking positive for the Spanish giant ahead of next season because the players have been training well.

“Messi is a very important player and he has shown it for many years. I hope he can do it again this season.”
On the fixtures, “Things are very positive, we have been in for two weeks and the players are working very well,”

“It is complicated because it is a short pre-season of four weeks before the first game against Villarreal.
