The Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Ikanade has collaborated with the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs at the recently held; Stakeholders’ meeting on Implementing the “Global Compact on Refugees”.
Following this Prince Clem Ikanade also attended the public hearing on the 2020 Finance Bill in company of the Minister of Finance, Honourable Shashuma, which was convened by the Senate Committee on Finance, Custom, Excise & Tariff; Trade and Investment; and Public Procurement.
During the meeting issues which were discussed includes, Fiscal Responsibility Act, Value Added Tax Acts, Personal Income Tax Act, proposed amendments to the Capital Gains Tax, among others.
Many dignitaries were present at the meeting among whom are the Executive Governor of Borno State, Professor Zulum; Minister of Women Affairs, Pauline Tallen; the Special Adviser to the President on Finance and Economy, Dr Sarah Alade.
