If I put “No Smoking” in my house and you flouted the advice or request, what you have said is that if you smoke what would I do. So whatever happens to you, you asked for it. Islam says obey the govt in power irrespective of your belief or inclination.
The convicts deserved the punishment metered out to them. Indonesia isn’t Nigeria where things are done with impunity!
