Tottenham coach, Jose Mourinho has come out to reveal the only time he wept after losing a game.
He revealed that this only happened when he was Real Madrid manager and it was after losing to Bayern Munich in the UCL in 2012.
According to him, it was a sad reality but that is how football works and it proved that players like Cristiano, Kaka, Sergio Ramos are all human afterall.
He added that it was still tough for him to take in because Real Madrid was the best team that season.
His words, “Unfortunately, that’s football. Cristiano, Kaka, Sergio Ramos… three complete monsters of football, there’s no doubt about that, but they’re also human.
“That night is the only time in my career as a coach that I’ve cried after a defeat. I remember it well… Aitor [Karanka, Madrid assistant at the time] and I pulled up in front of my house, in the car, crying.
“It was very hard because we were the best that season.”
